Armis Biopharma® has sponsored (27) Biological Efficacy and (19) Safety studies on its foundational formula of peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and proprietary ingredients. These studies were all performed by outside testing agencies.

In order to make a specific EPA claim of Kill rate and time to kill for a particular pathogen, each and every pathogen must be tested under GLP standards and submitted to the EPA for consideration.

Ideally, every manufacturer would test their product(s) against every known pathogen under GLP standards and submit to the EPA…then (and only then) can the manufacture make EPA claims for that pathogen. Unfortunately, this is cost prohibitive. To give an example, Armis Armis Biopharma® recently sponsored GLP testing of (5) pathogens for which we want to make EPA claims. The cost for just these 5 pathogens was $250,000.

Our approach is to pay for GLP testing and make EPA claims for well known pathogens that clinicians understand are indicative of our efficacy without gaining GLP standards testing for all pathogens.

When new pathogens arise or when the clinical community requests it…we repeat the testing we have already done through outside laboratories using the more expensive GLP standard and submit to the EPA.
